About Me
I am based in the Mojave Desert and Los Angeles, and I offer remote therapy throughout California.
My life has been shaped with service, adventure, and meaningful connections. After earning a B.A. in English, I taught abroad, built homes using earth-based and recycled materials, supported survivors at a domestic violence shelter, and worked in public schools. It was during my time as a teacher that I felt called to deepen my impact by transitioning into therapy.
I moved to California to pursue an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. During this period, I formed a significant relationship with someone who courageously shared their struggles with mental health challenges and ultimately overcame a life-altering diagnosis. Their experience, though fraught with difficulty, taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, the boundaries of control, and the necessity of self-care. Their untimely passing deepened my understanding of grief, compassion, and the fluid nature of relationships.
Many of you may be able to relate to the complexity of discovering new layers in relationships. This experience deepened my understanding of how relationships evolve as we learn more about each other—sometimes in ways we aren’t prepared for. Sadly, some relationships end in loss. Yet grief has a way of expanding our capacity for compassion, empathy, and connection.
These experiences have profoundly influenced how I hold space for both pain and healing, honoring the intricate narratives each person carries. I bring warmth, empathy, and lived experience to my practice, striving to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your challenges, nurture self-compassion, and foster growth.
I believe in the healing power of relationships, self-discovery, and our innate capacity to grow—to shift behaviors and build resilience in the face of discomfort. I look forward to hearing from you.
