About Me
I am based in the Mojave Desert and Los Angeles, and I offer remote therapy throughout California.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences in service and adventure. After earning a B.A. in English, I taught English abroad, built homes from earth-based and recycled materials, coordinated resources for survivors at a domestic violence shelter, and taught public school. It was during my time as a teacher that I felt called to deepen my service to others by becoming a therapist.
I moved to California to pursue and earn an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. During that time, I developed an impactful relationship with a remarkable person who gradually revealed their struggles with various mental health challenges and ultimately overcame a life-altering diagnosis. Though it was deeply challenging, I learned a great deal about resilience, the limits of control, and the importance of self-care. Tragically, they passed away too soon. I’m sure many of you can relate to the complexity of discovering new layers in relationships. This experience deepened my understanding of how relationships evolve as we learn more about each other—sometimes in ways we aren’t prepared for. Sadly, some relationships end in loss. Yet grief has a way of expanding our capacity for compassion, empathy, and connection. This experience has profoundly shaped how I hold space for both pain and healing, with deep respect for each step of the process.
I bring warmth, empathy, and lived experience to my work as a therapist. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their challenges, cultivate self-compassion, and grow. My life experiences have given me a deep understanding of courage and resilience, and I believe in the power of connection and self-discovery in the healing process.
I look forward to meeting you.
